Esna Allied is a Strategic Alliance between Esna (Pvt) Ltd and Transglobe Consolidated (Pvt) Ltd, where the financial strength of Esna Holdings Group and the Technical expertise and skills of the Transglobe Group has been amalgamated to grow in the ever expanding local and international market space. Thus Esna Allied Enterprises was incorporated as a member of the Esna Holdings Group.
Esna (Pvt) Ltd which had its origin in 1931 as Shermans, was reincorporated as Esna (Pvt) Ltd with the advent of the third generation under the new companies act 7 of 2007. Esna today, is a company engaged in emerging opportunities in Sri Lanka, with significant investments in the power, renewable energy, shipping, logistics, exports, fuel bunkering, lubricants, mining and in the local banking and finance sectors, thus has an increasing portfolio of subsidiaries operating in a range of industry verticals and continues to diversify its business interest.
Transglobe Consolidated (Pvt) Ltd, established in 1982 as Transglobe Ltd, commenced as a General Trading and Engineering Services Company providing Preventive Maintenance Solutions and Facility Management services to the commercial, industrial, defence, power and energy, healthcare and plantation sectors and expanded over the years with its subsidiaries namely, Transglobe Engineering Ltd, Ceypharma Ltd and Magnachem Ltd. Under the new companies act 7 of 2007, all the businesses were amalgamated and re-incorporated as Transglobe Consolidated (Pvt) Ltd.

Founder of Esna Allied Enterprises (Pvt) Ltd and serves as Chairman and Managing Director. He is a Chartered Marketer of the Chartered institute of Marketing, UK, a fellow of the Academy of Marketing Science, USA, Institute of Administrative Accountants, UK, and holds an Engineering Diploma in Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration. Was the Founder President of the Sri Lanka Italy Business Council of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Delegation for Promotion of Trade and investments with China, of the National Chamber of Commerce. He counts over 40 years of experience in the Commercial and Mercantile Sector in Marketing and Sales, covering Imports Trading, Exports and Entreport Trade. During his long career he has worked at J.L.Morison Son & Jones (Cey) Ltd., Usha Industries Ltd., Transglobe Ltd, Free Lanka Trading Co Ltd and served as an Executive Director at Mackwoods Ltd and as Managing Director in some of the Mackwoods Group Companies including Mackwoods Energy PLC, Mackwoods Healthcare (Pvt) Ltd., Mackwoods Insurance Brokers (Pvt) Ltd. and Mackwods Real Estate (Pvt) Ltd. He is also the Chairman of Transglobe Consolidated (Pvt) Ltd., President of the Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers’& Suppliers Association Sri Lanka and Chairman of the UN-ESCAP-CSAM-ReCAMA initiative, China.

Co-Founder of Esna Allied Enterprises (Pvt) Ltd., and serves as the Co-Chairman and leads the Esna Group of Companies. Esna Holdings has diversified interests in power generation, renewable energy, shipping, logistics, fuel bunkering, transport, banking and finance, graphite mining and lubricants. Additionally he is the Chairman of Pan Asia Bank PLC, Hanjin Shipping Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., Esna Holdings (Pvt) Ltd., Shermans Logistics (Pvt) Ltd., Shermans Transport (Pvt) Ltd., and Deputy Chairman of Esna (Pvt) Ltd., and Director Esna Power (Pvt) Ltd., Esna Exports (Pvt) Ltd., Mc Marine (Pvt) Ltd., Interocean Energy (Pvt) Ltd., Integrated Shipping Agencies (Pvt) Ltd., Integrated Holdings (Pvt) Ltd., Plumbago Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., Shermans De Silva & Co. (Pvt) Ltd., and Sherman Sons (Pvt) Ltd. Presently serves as the Director / CEO, Esna Allied Enterprises (PVT) Limited and counts over 25 years of experience in the Commercial and Mercantile Sector in Marketing and Sales. Experience spans over two decades in power generation, renewable energy, agricultural machinery, construction equipment, electrical distribution and telecommunication sectors in Sri Lanka. During his marketing career he has launched several key international and local products and been instrumental in establishing their brands in the country. Served at Gordon Frazer & Co Ltd of the John Keells Holdings Group and subsequently as General Manager of the Industrial Machinery Business unit of Mackwoods Ltd., General Manager Mackwoods Engineering (Pvt) Ltd and Director, Mackwoods Energy PLC. He holds a Diploma in Marketing from the University of Colombo and is a member of the Sri Lanka institute of Marketing, Member of the institute of Certified Professional Managers Sri Lanka, Fellow Member of Institute of Management Sri Lanka and a life member of the Organization of Professional Association of Sri Lanka.
